Abstract
The goal of this project has been to do a Testbench with the purpose of validating the electronics of a singleseater car from Formula Student. This design is based on the first Testbench’s design of the team performed
the previous season but it has been improved and has focused on the validation based on the V-model since
it is a working methodology very common on the automotive industry.
In this project the V-based methodology is explained (what is it and how to work with it), apart from the
Testbench’s design and an explanation of the relation between each step of the V-model and the project. On
the validation steps it is explained, by means of some examples, how the testbench has been used as a
validation tool.
The results obtained have been the desired ones since it has been possible to validate the properly
performance of each electronic board individually, as well as the integration between them and the final
integration of all the electronics with the rest of the systems of the car and improving the problems detected
on the previous design.
