Control de tamaños y potencias en pruebas de hipótesis

Abstract

En este trabajo se analizan los grados de libertad de que dispone el investigador para fijar o acotar los tamaños de primera y segunda especie y las potencias garantizadas en aceptación y rechazo, asociados a una prueva óptima de un contraste de hipótesis. En especial se estudia la influencia del tamaño de muestra fijo o libre, la proximidad de kas hipótesis nula y alternativa y el dar al investigador una tercera opción consistente en dudar (no decidirse ni por las hipótesis nula ni por la alternativa). Finalmente se incluyen tablas que muestran qué tamaños o potencias garantizadas, o cotas de los mismos, pueden darse independientemente y las restricciones a que están sometidos los restantes parámetros.

In this work the possibilities are studied of the use of Data Analysis and Pattern Recognition to a kind of Preventive Maintenance which enhances its classical concepts through cause-effect analysis. By means of Data Analysis and Classification Problems' and Pattern Recognition concepts the knowledge of the degradation states of an equipment or system can be attempted; Data Comprehension techniques and Correspondences' Factorial Analysis can solve the classification phase, to later authomatise the Failure Diagnosis throug the allocation (or identification) of individuals to classes. The Identifier here employed is also the one based on the k-Nearest Neighbour estimator. This kind of scheme would allow to avail of the experience and hystorical knowledge on system evolution through the use of learning samples, which to this end are supervised by Professor.
