La recerca del CDIF està relacionada amb el comportament dinàmic d'estructures confinades excitades per fluids. La recerca del comportament dinàmic requereix del estudi de les excitacions generades per un fluid i la resposta estructural per determinar els comportaments vibratoris i les deformacions. L'aplicació principal està en les turbomàquines hidràuliques (sector energies renovables).
