This paper describes two multiresolution methods for cubic Bsplines curves and surfaces based on wavelets and the computer application derived. The first multiresolution method deals with end-interpolating cubic Bsplines defined over finite linear spaces. The multiresolution decomposition and reconstruction algorithm does multiplications of banded matrixes and resolutions of banded lineal systems. The second method deals with uniform cubic Bsplines
over infinite linear spaces and the algorithm derived is a moving average filtering process. The implementation of the two multiresolution methods is discussed as well as the advantages and disadvantages of them.
