The aim of this Final Year Project is to measure and design a new mobile phone site inside a hotel, to provide 2G, 3G and 4G indoor coverage for all users. On the other hand, it will also be carried out the design of a parabolic structure antenna and a panel antenna in the rooftop, to achieve a good outdoor coverage. To prepare the design, we will take into account that the site will be shared between two Mobile Network Operators. Throughout the dissertation, it will be selected the most appropriate RF equipment, the components (couplers, divisors, diplexers, amplifiers and dischargers) the type of antenna (omnidirectional or panel), the wiring, the power equipment, the refrigeration equipment and the masts, which fits better to the design of the site. Besides, according to the established rules by Mobile Network Operators, we will try to propose an optimal transmission system. In order to do this, we will draw up a comparative study of different solutions for a transmission system with proposals in MACRO and MAIN REMOTE. By using CAD Design Engineering Software Tool, we will detail the execution project with the pertinent materials. Finally, to plan the main transmission network, it will be studied and proposed a solution with fiber for an Operator and with radio-link for the other one. However, for the correct adaptation of this mast which supports the radio-link with the outdoor panel antenna, we should calculate the structural viability.
