dc.description.abstractThe paper presents some results from the experimental validation of the achievements of the EU DICONET project. Specifically, the DICONET test-bed is presented and the experiments conducted for the performance evaluation of the control plane approaches designed to include the Physical layer Information (PLI) in the Routing and Wavelength Assignment (RWA) problem are discussed.
