dc.description.abstractThis document presents a parallelized implementation of a FEM formulation concerning both the upper and lower bound limit analysis theorems. By applying these methods to evaluate the stability of a vertical cut (i.e. vertical slope) in drained and undrained conditions, it is possible to discuss the efficiency of this strategy.
