dc.description.abstractIn this master thesis, it is attempted the integration of en emerging key-value storage technology into the data sharing platform dataClay.
dc.description.abstractCurrently, Big Data actors tackle many difficulties when cooperation among them is needed. New ways of cooperation, which make it in a seamless way, are needed. As the object-oriented programming paradigm is the most dominant, the new approaches adopt it in Big Data field, too. Furthermore, hardware follows this object-based fash- ion, and new storage technologies enable data management using the key-value object abstraction. So, the attempt to pair object-based software and hardware is more than plausible.
