It has been observed that Maritime sector have several accurate and planned safety systems in order to face the vessel\'s accidents and its crews safety. Global distress communication systems, ship reporting systems, emergency radio beacons and other technologies have greatly enhanced mariners safety. They are coordinated and/or adopted by different International Organizations, like International Maritime Organization (IMO), International Telecommunications Union (ITU), World Meteorological Organization (WMO), International Maritime Satellite Organization (Inmarsat) and others. It is known that Maritime sector have a great system to procedure in case of emergency. This project aims to present the main points of the Maritime systems and procedures which improve the safety of the sector and compare to other sector, such as Alpinism sector, which have a poorest safety systems. Finally, this project aims to present a possible safety communications system for Alpinism sector, based on the knowledge of the Maritime safety system.
