dc.description.abstractThe object of this bachelor thesis is to elaborate a Matlab code to simulate different atmospheric phenomena on a planetary scale on a rotating planet with the aim of introducing a topography into the model in order to simulate how the presence of this alters the behaviour of the atmosphere on a large scale. The value of this study is that the results obtained can be a great source of information about how the presence of islands or mountainous terrain on geophysical flows changes the behavior of the atmosphere.
