Intentem entendre l’interior arquitectònic a través dels seus límits. Les relacions que estableix el buit amb la construcció material i de quina manera el percebem. Què hi tenen a veure la forma, la tècnica i la llum, en aquest procés? A través de què i com entenem el caràcter d’un espai? És, tot allò que percebem, una realitat absoluta o pot també formar part d’una ficció, un pacte, entre creador i espectador?
Prestem especial atenció al tèxtil. Els seus orígens i contemporaneïtat, les seves geometries, quines espècies d’espais generen i el paper del revestiment en arquitectura. Quins atributs posseeixen aquests espais efímers. Partint d’aquesta base, busquem en l’imaginari contemporani interiors que, sense ser explícitament tèxtils, aconsegueixin les tensions espacials estudiades dins aquest camp. Es classifiquen entre sí per tal de comprendre la seva posició dins el conjunt, i s’interrelacionen, donant un sentit a la col·lecció. Es genera un recull de dibuixos a línia a partir de les seccions a escala dels projectes, posant èmfasi en l’interior arquitectònic. Es busca així, igualar i equiparar els casos davant l’experiència del lector.
We try to understand the architectonic interior through its limits. The links that the void and material construction establish and how we perceive it. What do shapes, technique and light have to do with this process? Through what and how do we understand the character of a space? Is all that we perceive an absolute reality or can it take part in a fiction, a pact between creator and spectator?
We pay special attention to textile. Its origins and contemporaneity, its geometries, what species of spaces it generates and the role of cladding in architecture. What attributes these ephemeral spaces convey? Starting from there, we look into the contemporary imaginary for spaces which, without being explicitly textile, achieve the spatial tensions studied in this field. The cases are classified and compared within themselves, giving a meaning to the collection. A set of single-line drawings are generated from the escalated sections of the projects, putting emphasis on the architectural interior. This aims to equalise the cases for a comprehensive reader’s experience.
