Scientific objectives: Definition of a secure, standard and modular architecture for the production, management and distribution of multimedia content.
Research for the development of interoperable tools for content protection, control and auditing, electronic contracts creation, management of the rights life cycle, and other related topics.
Continue with contribution to international standardisation on the DRM (Digital Rights Management), metadata and security areas.
Other objectives: Continue being a reference in specific research topics, such as DRM, security applied to communications, and metadata, in relation to systems for production, management and distribution of multimedia content.
The important amount of current projects, including two European ones, should be a good platform for the enlargement of the group.

Morphological interpolation for texture coding
(. S.N., 1995)
Conference report
Open AccessIn this paper a new morphological interpolation technique is presented. It is applied to the coding of the smooth (primary) component in a sketch-based image compression approach for very low bit-rates. The interpolation ... -
