Study of secure tunnels and VPNs applied to an educational practice

Abstract

This thesis shows the complete experience of a student during the realization of an educational practice. Specifically, the study of the implementation of secure tunnels and VPNs using GRE, IPsec, SSL/TLS, OpenVPN, SSH and WireGuard technologies. In the first place, the student goes through a process of assimilation of the main features of each technology. Secondly, the instructions of the practice are followed step by step to implement them in a simulated scenario. And finally, the student obtains results and conclusions understanding the concept of each of the technologies and their possible applications.
