Abstract

La qüestió de la Salut Mental ha esdevingut un dels afers de caràcter social més important als quals hem de fer front avui per avui com a societat. El sistema de salut, afectat per una mancança històrica en quant a infraestuctura, personal i inversions ha vist superada la seva fragilitat per un còctel format per la pandèmia del coronavirus, la nova pressió de les xarxes socials i l’estrès quotidià de vida contemporània. Aquest fet ha agreujat veloçment la salut mental de la població, en concret, entre les franges més joves. La present memòria cerca i proposa un seguit d’intervencions per millorar la salut mental dels ciutadans a través del Centre de Salut Mental de Barcelona. Els plantejaments que aquí es mostren parteixen de la base teòrica i projectual realitzada durant tot el màster habilitant, a través d’una arquitectura que pretén donanr nous significats al Parc del Laberint d’Horta i al Campus Mundet a través d’una visió contemporània, tractant qüestions d’estil, llenguatge, encaix urbanístic i preservació patrimonial.

The issue of Mental Health has become one of the most important social affairs that we have to deal with and find solutions for today as a society. The health system, affected by a historic lack in terms of infrastructure, personnel and investments, has seen its fragility overcome by a cocktail formed by the coronavirus pandemic, the new pressure of social media and the daily stress of the contemporary life. This fact has rapidly worsened the mental health of the population, specifically among the younger groups. This report seeks and proposes a series of interventions to improve the mental health of citizens through the Mental Health Center of Barcelona. The approaches that are shown here start from the theoretical and project basis carried out throughout the master’s degree, through an architecture that aims to give new meanings to the Parc del Laberint d’Horta and the Mundet Campus through a contemporary vision, dealing with issues of style, language, urban fit and heritage preservation.
