Abstract
In the modern day, energy dependence plays a significant role in economic growth for many countries, while energy prices continue to rise at an unprecedented rate. As a result, new solutions are being developed that work in conjunction with technology so that energy production and losses can be minimized in order to prevent large economic losses. Large energy and economic losses occur in infrastructures due to poor management when designing and constructing buildings. In order to manage this energy loss, BIM technology is integrated with other technologies of the 4th industrial revolution such as the IoT to reduce losses and digitize the maintenance of these infrastructures. For energy management of buildings, this study proposes an integrated web application that visualizes buildings and incorporates sensors for importing, analyzing, and visualizing values in real time. With this tool, decisions can be made based on the values of sensors inserted into infrastructures in order to avoid significant energy losses. Using this solution, models can also be imported and viewed without the need to use expensive software. Finally, this project integrates a virtual reality experience in the web application to give the user the ability to interact with objects in the real building and obtain information from the sensors in real time. With this solution, energy management decision-making can be made more graphically and visually
