CN : a computer-aided between contour drawing package

Abstract

This report describes the design and implementation process of a graphics package built to visiualize surfaces by means of contour lines. This process involves three steps: triangulation, interpolation and visualization. The main algorithms used to triangulate the data points and to perform a bivariate interpolation have been described elsewhere; therefore this paper focuses on the special procedures introduced in the program to accept break-lines in the triangulation and to put labels in each contour line.
