POLQUITEX - Materials Polimérics i Química Téxtil
The study of the micro- and macro-characterisation of polymeric materials and chemical systems related to the textile and/or chemical industries. The modification and optimisation of processes related to polymers such as synthesis, modification and treatment, and of the variables used in their industrial applications, such as drug delivery, biomolecule insertion, active matter encapsulation, chemical species absorption and composites. The monitoring of the properties of the final products, such as permeability, desorption kinetics, colour, mechanical properties, surface characteristics and durability.
