Abstract
Drone technology opens a world of new possibilities in various fields and is regarded to have a meaningful economic and social impact in the following years. In conjunction with the steady growth of e-commerce, it changes how the economy has been working and will reshape the city’s landscapes. This research tackles one of the biggest challenges that the drone delivery network has to face to be efficient in urban environments; the placement and technical characteristics of the charging stations. Besides, it provides delivery times of the proposed solution, economic viability, comparison with other transport alternatives, and environmental impact
