Un cop finalitzada l'etapa d'Educació Secundària Obligatòria l'alumnat pot escollir entre dues vies formatives molt diferenciades: el batxillerat o els cicles formatius. L'objectiu d'aquest treball és ajudar a donar-los eines i recursos per a poder prendre aquesta decisió d'una forma més conscient i reflexionada. El treball es centra en un camp específic, el de l'automoció i transport, però es podria aplicar la mateixa idea a altres cicles o adaptar-la a diferents centres on s'ofereixin diferents vies formatives. En concret, es proposa un material educatiu en forma de píndola formativa englobada dins de l'assignatura de Tecnologia, per tal de donar a conèixer els cicles formatius de la família d'automoció als alumnes que finalitzen els estudis d'Educació Secundària Obligatòria. D'entrada, el treball fa una revisió del currículum de Tecnologia al llarg de tota l'etapa obligatòria i una associació de continguts amb els treballats als graus d'automoció, per tal de proposar activitats i materials adaptats als continguts curriculars. Paral·lelament, es fa una valoració de l'interès i grau de coneixement d'aquests tipus d'estudis per part de l'alumnat, i de la seva percepció respecte a com es fa l'orientació en els centres de secundària i les diferències entre escollir un itinerari formatiu o altre.
Once the compulsory Secondary Education stage has finished, students can choose between two very different educational tracks: the baccalaureate or the vocational education and training (VET). The objective of this work is to help provide them tools and resources to be able to make this decision in a more conscious and thoughtful way. The work focuses on a specific field, the automotive industry and transport, but the same idea could be applied other VET cycles or adapted to different centers where different educational tracks are offered. Specifically, educational material is proposed in the form of a training pill encompassed within the subject of Technology, in order to publicize the VET cycles of the automotive family to students who finish compulsory Secondary Education. Firstly, the work makes a review of the Technology curriculum throughout the compulsory stage and an association of contents with those worked in the automotive cycles, in order to propose activities and materials adapted to the curricular contents. At the same time, an assessment is made of the interest and knowledge of this type of studies by the students, and of their perception regarding how orientation is done in secondary schools and the differences between choosing one educational track or another.
