L'estudi analitza la implantació d'una empresa dedicada a l'extrusionat de plàstic (polietilè) per a fabricació de tub coarrugat i altres perfils tècnics. Es tracta d'implementar un conjunt o complex industrial de naus d'uns 10.000 m2 en una parcel.la de 16.000 m2 aproximadament al Vallès Occidental. Les dimensions definitives es determinaran un cop seleccionat l’emplaçament i determinat el layout definitiu.
En primer lloc, l’estudi inclourà tot el procés d'implantació (selecció de l'emplaçament, definició del layout, etc.). En aquest sentit, s’avaluaran les diferents alternatives d’emplaçament a partir dels criteris de selecció prèviament determinats i el mètode de càlcul corresponent i es verificaran els paràmetres urbanístics de l’emplaçament seleccionat. Es determinarà el layout final d’acord amb el procés productiu, necessitats d’emmagatzematge i medis de producció utilitzats (maquinaria, ma d’obra, etc.) i es reajustarà en funció dels diferents condicionants (normativa de prevenció d’incendis, etc.).
Un cop seleccionat l’emplaçament i definit el layout, l’estudi desenvoluparà aspectes tècnics de l'establiment, com ara sistemes de protecció activa i passiva contra incendis, instal·lacions, i aspectes ambientals. S’estudiaran les obres d’adequació necessàries per a la implementació de les instal·lacions i compliment de les normatives de prevenció d’incendis (aplicació de mesures de protecció actives i passives) i de la normativa ambiental.
