De l'individu a la comunitat. Regeneració del barri del Sud-Oest del Besòs des de l'habitatge

Abstract

Els processos de regeneració urbana es troben a la primera línia de l’urbanisme del moment. Tant és així que l’Institut Municipal d’Urbanisme de Barcelona recórrer a l’àmbit acadèmic per a l’assaig d’una futura intervenció al barri del Sud-Oest del Besòs.

Es planteja una operació des de l’habitatge, des de les persones, que es propagui fins a l’espai públic generant entre els dos un nou tipus d’espai: el col·lectiu.

L’acció coordinada i dividida en unitats d’actuació, formades per conjunts d’edificis, permet una major participació dels veïns així com una millor avaluació de cada cas. D’aquesta manera, l’aparició de la diversitat serà genuïna tant dins els mateixos conjunts com al barri.

L’agrupació de blocs escollida per a la definició a escala constructiva és la situada a la confluència entre els carrers Alfons el Magnànim i Cristòfol de Moura, els dos eixos principals del barri. La proposta incideix en la millora de l’accessibilitat i el confort dels habitatges així com en la diversificació d’usos dins el conjunt. Una estructura lleugera independent permet l’assoliment dels objectius evitant una afectació desmesurada del patrimoni arquitectònic del Moviment Modern a Catalunya que representa el barri.

Finalment, es dissenya un sistema de tancaments flexibles per mitjà de panells intercanviables, aquest permet la modificació de l’atmosfera dels espais interiors en el temps i, al mateix temps, converteix el conjunt en un organisme viu.

Urban regeneration processes are at the forefront of urban planning at the moment. So much so that the Institut Municipal d’Urbanisme de Barcelona resorted to the academic field for the trial of a future intervention in the Sud-Oest del Besòs neighborhood.

An operation is proposed from the housing, from the people, that spreads to the public space generating between the two of them a new type of space: the collective.

A coordinated operation, divided into units of action made up of sets of buildings, allows for greater participation of the residents as well as a better evaluation of each case. In this way, the emergence of diversity will be genuine both within the groups and the neighborhood.

The agregation of blocks chosen to define at a constructive scale is the one located at the confluence between the Alfons el Magnànim and Cristòfol de Moura streets, the two main axes of the neighborhood.

The proposal has an impact on the improvement of the accessibility and comfort of the homes as well as on the diversification of uses within the complex. A light independent structure allows the achievement of the objectives avoiding an excessive affectation of the architectural heritage of the Modern Movement in Catalonia that represents the neighborhood.

Finally, a system of flexible closures is designed by means of interchangeable panels, this allows the modification of the atmosphere of the interior spaces and, at the same time, converts the whole into a living organism.
