Les classes a través de plataformes en línia d’aquest darrer any i mig han accelerat la transformació digital a les universitats. Uns canvis que segurament haurien arribat d’aquí pocs anys. Què es mantindrà del temps prepandèmia i què canviarà?
La finalitat d’aquesta recerca és esbrinar quin paper juguen i han de jugar les plataformes audiovisuals com a complement a la docència universitària de l’Arquitectura.
En aquest sentit, s’inicia el projecte fent una investigació prèvia sobre quin tipus de contingut hi ha i com s’estructura, passant per la comprensió del context d’una societat líquida on la saviesa digital es presenta com un recurs imprescindible.
Es defineixen set claus per a l’elaboració de material docent complementari en format audiovisual: Àrea general i temàtica concreta, Tipologies, Llenguatge audiovisual, Durada, To, Guió, i Postproducció
Finalment, s’emprèn un procés d’experimentació a partir dels resultats de la investigació prèvia, i que deriva a un treball de camp amb els estudiants de primer curs com a públic objectiu. Es realitza en el marc d’una assignatura de primer curs a l’ETSAB on es crea un vídeo de com fer una maqueta topogràfica.
Aquest recurs s’avalua comunitàriament mitjançant un qüestionari que rep una alta participació.
Els resultats de la recerca mostren una bona acollida dels vídeos per part de l’estudiantat, fent valdre aquest tipus de material com a complement de la docència de l’Arquitectura.
Molta recerca sobre la temàtica presenta les MOOC com a mitjà del futur i deixa de banda els seus impactes. Aquest treball, en canvi, posa el focus en la seva significació i com el mitjà transforma la manera de comunicar i la universitat.
Aquests recursos permetran dotar de sentit la presencialitat a les universitats, derivant una sèrie de contingut a l’educació asíncrona i convertint l’espai universitari en un lloc de crítica i reflexió comunitària.
Digital transformation in universities has been accelerated in the last year and a half due to virtual classrooms. These changes would probably have happened in a few years. What will be kept from the pandemic learnings? What will change?
The aim of this research is to find out what role does audiovisual platform play in universities and what role should it play to complement the teaching of Architecture.
In this sense, the project begins with a prior investigation into what kind of content exists and how is it structured, through understanding the context of a liquid soci- ety we live in and where digital wisdom is presented as an essential resource.
Seven keys are defined to help guide the development of complementary teaching material in an audiovisual format: General area of interest & specific topic, Typology, Audiovisual Language, Duration, Tone, Script, and Post-production.
Finally, a process of experimentation is undertaken based on the research of the seven keys. That leads to a fieldwork resulting of a video,directed to first-year students, to learn how to create a topographic model. It is carried out within the framework of a first year subject at the Barcelona Architecture School(ETSAB).
This resource is evaluated with the community through a questionnaire. It receives a high participation.
The results show a good reception of the videos by the students, which makes this type of material a valid complement to the teaching of Architecture.
A lot of research focus on MOOC as the future of universities, and they leave apart its impact. This thesis, on the other side, focuses on its signification and how the media transforms communication and the university world.
In the near future, the outcomes of this research will help to reinforce the presence of students in universities. It will drive
to the creation of asynchronous audiovisual content that will allow university to become a space of communal criticism and reflection
