Abstract
This project aims to realize an Electric Power System (EPS) for a cubesat model that is a part of the PLATHON-project. This project is executed by the research group TIEG (Terrassa Industrial Electronics Group). An EPS is responsible for delivering power to all the subsystems on the cubesat model. The subsystems make use of the four different bus voltages provided by the EPS. It makes use of solar cells to transform solar energy into electrical energy. With the help of a converter with MPPT a batterypack is charged. This batterypack is used as an energy buffer when the cubesat model goes through the eclipse stage. The project exists out of two steps. The first step is to design a PCB for the EPS in a way that it matches the requirements. This steps contains a lot of research into different components, this because all components have to be attuned to each other. The next and last step is the assembly of the circuitboard after manufacturing it. Concluding can be stated that due to the lack of time the assembly part of the of the project was not executed. The designs are finished but the PCB has not been manufactured in time. At the other hand a testboard PCB was made in order to get some results out of testing the chosen components. Unfortunatly the testing was not executed before the deadline of the TFG.
