In the last 4 years, a study has been carried out on the mineral composition of the water from almost 300 springs in Montseny in three areas: north, west and east. The analysis of flow, pH, conductivity, bicarbonates, sulfates, chlorides, nitrates, hardness, calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium was carried out. To ensure the quality of the analyzes, the ionic balance was performed with error percentage and participation in Results Intercomparison Exercises was performed satisfactorily. It has been concluded that there is a clear mineralogical polarization in the waters of the Montseny springs with respect to the three geographical areas studied. In general, it can be stated that the mineralization of the spring water is inversely proportional to its altitude. All water is free of nitrate pollution except for a few sources in the lower east and west.
