dc.description.abstract | In this project there is developed the creation of an Exhaust System Component. It starts with a design, that comes true in the moment that a Company sends an Offer and sees feasible to convert that design, firstly in to a prototype and later on, into a serial production component, that will be part of a specific brand of car. To produce a component, it is needed a big knowledge given by the experience. This knowledge, must to by applied into the documental creation and into the productive process. The process is quite complex, as a lot of machines and deformations are involved. It has to be known the material behavior, the operations of the machines, to reach the best results, with the best quality and reaching the shortest productive cycles, to get prices as competitive as possible. In conclusion, this work is focused to the creation of an Exhaust System component, where is shown the participation of the different departments of the company (Production, Quality, Logistics,…), that in this case, is done by the same person, due to the dimensions of the Company. The acquired knowledge on the present project is as big for the author as for to whom it may read it because, there is shown a guide from zero, quite complete, of the steps to follow into a Conception of an Exhaust System Component. |
