Abstract
Montjuic Hill, also called the mountain of the city, represents one of the most important and em-blematic sites of
Barcelona. Known for its history and urban evolution in the
city, with a strategic location bordering the coastal area
of Barceloneta, the mountain has hosted the main events
of Barcelona’s history, namely, the 1929 International Exhibition, the 1992 Olympic Games, among others. Indeed,
because of its historical evolution, its positioning and its
multiple parks, museums and sports facilities, Montjuic is
known for being the touristic, cultural and sports site of Barcelo-na, and is also famous for its multiple parks and different types of transportation. For the master’s project, and
in continuity with the first semester, we will focus on the last
two themes related to Montjuic’s mobility and green areas.
