Abstract
In this study, neurodegeneration phenomena wereinvestigated, by performing third harmonic generationimaging measurements on the nematodeCaenorhabditiselegans,in vivo. Thein vivo, precise identification of thecontour of the degenerating neurons in the posterior partof the nematode and the monitoring, in real time, of theprogression of degeneration in the worm, through thirdharmonic generation imaging measurements, were achieved.
