Usos y aplicaciones del Blockchain en el área médica

Abstract

El objetivo principal de este trabajo de fin de máster es realizar una revisión sistemática sobre los usos y aplicaciones del blockchain en el área de la medicina, queriendo encontrar respuestas a los problemas tecnológicos que actualmente tiene el sector médico y como Blockchain puede pretende plantear soluciones ya que es una tecnología que se encuentra en evolución y transformación. Hoy en día la tecnología se encuentra en constante evolución y cuando nos referimos a blockchain no solo nos estamos refiriendo a criptomonedas, nos referimos a cadenas de bloques que a través de sus nodos comparten información codificada y es aquí cuando entra el juego minado que realizan los nodos, esto sirve para validar la información de nodo a nodo. A esto se suma que permite usar un entorno descentralizado y distribuido sin necesidad de una autoridad central, cada paso de la información es cada vez más fiable debido al uso de los principios criptográficos. Si bien es cierto, querer explorar sobre este campo dentro de la medicina es muy complejo ya que al día de hoy lo que más importa son los datos que puedan tener una persona (paciente) y el valor que tiene esto es incalculable, es por esa razón que dentro de este trabajo de fin de máster quiere determinar cuáles son las soluciones que plantea Blockchain para mejorar los problemas que se puedan encontrar dentro de este sector, además se detallan, el uso, la importancia y beneficios que se le está dando al implementar la tecnología Blockchain.
