dc.description.abstract | The objective of this thesis is to create an environmental sensing electronic board, with special emphasis on meeting all the regulatory compliances associated with a printed circuit board, which is going to have an industrial use. The design is going to be exhaustive in every aspect, from integrated circuits, embedded CPU and other components' analysis, to mounting, communication and sensor requirements, although the main concern is going to be electromagnetic compatibility. A primary goal of this thesis is to create a complete and custom-made design, trying to prevent any possible automation error, which is to be manufactured and soldered by outsourcing resources. The second goal of this thesis, once the printed circuit board is assembled, is to program it and show its application, and test the board for compliance with EMC requirements and other European directives regarding this kind of electronic devices. |
