Sistema per a la localització d'impacte de la pilota en el tennis taula

Abstract

El treball consisteix en el disseny, la construcció i validació d'un sistema per localitzar els impactes de la pilota sobre la taula en l'esport del tenis taula. El sistema aprofita la propagació d'ones acústiques produïdes per cada impacte, les quals són recollides per sensors mecanico/acústics. Mitjançant un sistema de processament digital es calcula la posició de l'impacte i aquesta informació es mostra en un format adequat amb l'objectiu d'ajudar en l'arbitratge, en l'entrenament i/o en la partida als jugadors. El disseny té per objectiu assolir el mínim cost i la mínima complexitat d'instal·lació.

The aim of this project is to design, build and validate a system that is able to locate the ball impacts on the table of the sport of table tennis. The system will use the propagation of the acoustic waves generated in every impact, which will be caught by mecanico/acoustic sensors. With a system of a digital process of signals the position of the impact will be calculated and this information will be shown in an appropriate format in order to help the referee during a match, and also to help the players in both the training and during a match. The design has the objective to achieve the minimum cost and the minimum installation complexity.
