Abstract
Projecte d’un pàrquing per e-scooters is a bachelor final project of Mechanical Engineering by UPC (EEBE). This work concerns the product design of a two layer modular parking for e-scooters, with the main focus of creating a machine, which supplies a dedicated and organized space for storing e-scooters. The field of usage comprehends both indoor and under cover. The design of this product could be used for creating a recharge e-scooter supply station.
With the main goal of optimising the space available, it has been projected an articulated system which enables the storage of the e-scooters one over another. This machine constructed out of normalized articulated bars, has been upheld from a static load study, using programs such as MEFI. Furthermore, a finite element method study has been programmed for one of the most critical components, such as the rack.
This work is joined by assembly and component drawings with geometric, dimensional and finish tolerances. Every component has been drawn using SolidWorks Software. To finalize, it has been made a quote of the average costing price of the finalized product.
