Com bé indica el títol d’aquest document, el projecte es basa en l’automatització d’un banc de proves de panells pneumàtics, ubicats en tots els trens de la plataforma CIVIA. Els panells esmentats anteriorment s’encarreguen de controlar principalment el sistema de frenat del tren, amés d’altres sistemes com la suspensió. Aquest banc de proves per tant, s’utilitza per a comprovar que aquests panells funcionin de manera correcta i que no suposaran cap perill. Les proves dutes a terme però, es realitzen d’una forma molt manual i requereixen un temps prolongat, amés d’un cert aprenentatge. El principal objectiu del projecte és, per tant, fer d’aquest banc de proves, una eina més fàcil d’utilitzar i eficient, automatitzant el procés que es du a terme per a l’assaig d’un d’aquests panells. Per a dur a terme aquesta millora, s’utilitzarà un autòmat programable o PLC, que amés anirà acompanyat d’una pantalla tàctil (HMI), per a poder interaccionar amb el programa i veure els resultats obtinguts. El projecte comprèn la programació del PLC, el disseny i la creació de les pantalles, així com també, la selecció de tots els elements i la realització dels plànols necessaris, per a la correcta implementació de l’autòmat.
As the title of this document indicates, the project is based on the automation of a test bench for pneumatic panels, located on all trains on the CIVIA platform. The above-mentioned panels are mainly responsible to controlling the train's braking system, in addition to other systems such as the suspension. This test bench is therefore used to check that these panels are working properly and that they will not cause any danger. The tests carried out, however, are carried out in a very manual way and require a long time, in addition to some learning. For these reason, the main goal of the project is to make this test bench an easier to use and efficient tool, automating the process that is carried out for testing one of these panels. To carry out this improvement, a programmable logic controller or PLC will be used, which will also be accompanied by a touch screen (HMI), to be able to interact with the program and see the results obtained. The project includes the programming of the PLC, the design and creation of the screens, as well as the selection of all the elements and the realization of the necessary plans, for the correct implementation of the automation.
