The aim of this thesis is the modeling, development and control of a greenhouse model with its system of energy supply included. The energy supply system is consisted of an electric system of lamps and a thermal system, the second is composed in a heat pump which is supplied for an aquifer reserve providing a water flow. The project is focused on the development of the greenhouse model only with natural ventilation. The model incorporates sub-models to load weather data allowing to be used easily worldwide. The work implies the use of multi-engineering with the modification of the model, the testing of itself and the creation of a code to reflect the function of the greenhouse, the consumption indicators and efficiency indicators of the control system and heat pump. The basic points covered in this project are: - The modification of the original greenhouse model. Changing of existence models for new ones to adapt the needs of the thermal energy supply system. Also the variation of the existing models for the needs of the greenhouse, depending on its type. - The modeling and development of the heat pump model, choosing a real heat pump from the market. - The modeling and development of the global system considering the greenhouse, the heat pump, the aquifer supply and the global control system. - An automatic post-processing code to reflect simply the performance of the greenhouse in different conditions and the efficiency of the control system. Also able to generate two Sankey diagrams, first one shows all the possible heat flows that exist in the greenhouse with the different nodes and the second one representing the different steam flows that move inside the greenhouse. - Different simulations that are used to determine and compare the functioning of the greenhouse system for different conditions like weather or other restrictions that can be imposed to the global system. The work done shows how a real greenhouse with only natural ventilation and electric and aquifer supply works in front different boundary conditions.
