dc.description.abstractThe project’s main objective is to introduce myself to CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), with the intention of studying the refrigeration of a battery pack and how the different parameters affect the temperatures distribution, as nowadays electrical vehicles are getting more and more usual. But also to know about what is behind the programs that already exist for CFD resolution, or which programs can be usefulat the moment of showing the results.To achieve this goal, a code capable of solving solid heat transfer and its interference with the surrounding fluids (even the fluid passing through ducts inside the domain) has been programmed. But as the way of solving the fluid inside the duct is not bythe directly resolution of the Navier-Stokes equation, it has been done the resolutionof the convection-diffusion equation, which is the previous step to do before entering fully on them.The memory of the project is differentiated in different chapters. In Chap.1, all the info about the organization of the project is written. In Chap. 2, you can find all the information about the theoretical basis of the project. Then, in Chap. 3, allthe steps and the problems that have been solved for the correct development of the project code. Chap. 4 is the object of study of this project, its geometry, its initial conditions, the results obtained... and finally Chap. 5, where the conclusions of the project and future steps will be explained.
