Abstract

The present research project aims to study of the current Master Plan of the Reus airport. The first step determines the current situation of the airport and its Master Plan. was to compare the data that were prognosticated in the MP with the real results to test if there are any discrepancies and, if so, to find the reason that led to the error. Next, the prognosis results have been obtained, based on the airport’s records. These values have been corrected with aspects such as the tourism and the location, as well as the inclusion of present factors as the SARS-CoV2 pandemic. These values have allowed us to determine the design parameters of the terminal and to dimension it. After that, a series of improvements are proposed. These improvements are based on the passenger management with intent to improve their level of satisfaction and comfort. Finally, a chapter devoted to the conclusions is included, where the most relevant results obtained from the previously mentioned procedures in addition to personal valuations are displayed.
