GICITED - Grup Interdiciplinari de Ciència i Tecnologia en l'Edificació
El GICITED és un grup altament multidisciplinari que té com a principals objectius incidir en el desenvolupament d'una edificació sostenible, d'altes prestacions i amb criteris de seguretat. Més concretament treballa en el disseny i caracterització de nous materials i sistemes constructius amb prestacions específiques per al seu ús en construcció d¿obra nova, així com en rehabilitació. Des del punt de vista de la sostenibilitat es treballa en diferents línies: la revalorització de residus i subproductes, l'ús de fusta i altres materials
