dc.description.abstract | As the title suggests, this project consists in studying if it’s both economically and especially technically feasible to study the basics parameters in a small reciprocating engine with an Arduino-based prototype. In order to explain all the process with this document, the study has been mainly divided in three parts. The first part consists in a basic approach to all the related theory and principles that are needed to properly understand the IC reciprocating engine performance, the Arduino-platform and other elements such as sensors, the Android system, the Bluetooth connections, etc. The second one consists in explaining all the code, connections and devices needed to build the prototype as well as all the found problems. Lastly, the third part of this document show the results, explains the mounting needed and also the advantages and disadvantages of the system. |
