dc.description.abstractOn this project the design and validation process of a Formula Student damper is explained. In the first place, the reader is introduced to the damper basics. The working principles and different configurations are presented and explained. In the case of the chosen damper configuration the adjustment procedure is explained. Later, the problems related to the 2015 ecoRZ damper are presented and analysed, in order to propose different solutions to them. Then, design process of the 2016 ecoRZ damper is explained, going from the initial design to the final one, and through the different iterations. Once the damper is designed, and fabricated, the tuning and validation process is explained. Finally, the conclusions are extracted and presented based on the correlation of the final real curve with the desired one, and taking into account the economic and environmental aspects.
