El grup de recerca en Direcció Universitària, pretén contribuir al desenvolupament del coneixement en el camp de la direcció estratègica aplicada a l'Educació Superior que redundi en una millora dels sistemes universitaris que contribuiran al desenvolupament economic y social per mitjà de topics com; Direcció estratégica universitaria, models de governanca, transparencia, planificació estratégia i eines de gestó, models de negoci i innovació, política, direcció, gestió i lideratge de l'educació superior.Pefils i competències de directius acadèmics. Estudis comparatius entre els diferents sistemes d'educació superior, especialment dins de paisos europeus i entre Europa i América Llatina. Internacionalització de l'educació superior, ranquins i xarxes. Màrqueting i comunicació 2.0 a l'educació superior, nous models de cooperació entre universitat i empresa, emprendeduria i financament a l'educació superior i responsabilitat social universitária.
