dc.description.abstractIn the design of new components for the automotive framework, simulation methodologies are applied in order to reduce experimental costs. The inclusion of new materials leads to the need of consider effects that were not needed for the design in classical materials, as cracks in High strength steels, or crushing damage in composite materials.
