dc.description.abstractThis document contains the theoretical and practical study performed in order to design and define the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Software Selection Protocol. This protocol allows, from an input given throughout a simple form, to answer the question of which Robotic Process Automation software is more adapted to the needs of my company for those cases where an RPA implementation for process automation is performed, all of it applied to small, medium and large companies. For this purpose, three RPA softwares have been pre-selected from among the most trending ones in the market: UiPath, BluePrism and Automation Anywhere. There has been performed an exhaustive study both at theoretical and technical level, testing all of them for its rating and conclusions. Following a Hybrid Agyle methodology for the planning and project management, the content of the protocol is designed and defined. A theoretical analysis of each vendor is performed followed by a technical analysis throughout the creation of simple automations. A defined score matrix is obtained as a result of these studies. The protocol creation comes to an end as a result of the data crossing from the user-filled form, the score matrix generated in the theoretical-practical study of the softwares, and an internal weighting system defined for the final calculation. Finally, with the protocol already finished, some tests with users form external companies are performed in order to verify the correct functioning of the protocol, comparing the expected results with the obtained ones and getting conclusions with the results of the tests.
