dc.description.abstract | Este texto tiene la intención de describir la parte práctica de la experiencia docente en los cursos de Historia y Teoría de la Arquitectura, donde los estudiantes usan paquetes de software y aplicaciones de dispositivos móviles para dar una respuesta los conceptos arquitectónicos a través de capricci o collages digitales. Para ello se les pide que produzcan sus propios collages creando una composición digital de espacios simulados que se pueden obtener combinando fragmentos de edificios conocidos o componiendo formas más abstractas, con el objetivo de expresar un concepto detrás de un arquitecto, un estilo o un movimiento. De esta forma, la experiencia sigue la teoría de Walter Benjamin del "arte en la era de la reproducción mecánica" trasladando al mundo arquitectónico el concepto de ser un simulacro de la fuente original. |
dc.description.abstract | The paper intends to describe the practical part of the teaching experience in History and Theory of Architecture courses, where students use software packages and mobile devices apps in order to give a response to architectural concepts through digital capricci o collage. They are requested to produce their own collages creating a digital composition of simulated spaces that can be obtained by combining fragments of renowned buildings or composing together more abstract forms, with the aim of express a concept behind an architect, a style or a movement. The experiment follows the theory by Walter Benjamin of the “art in the age of mechanical reproduction” bringing architecture to the same concept of being a simulacrum of the original source. |
