dc.description.abstract | In this work, a Plasticity model for granular materials, based on the Drucker-Prager/CAP model, is applied to represent the behaviour of the metallic powders during their cold die compaction. The elastic deformation has been simulated by means of a non-linear law. These constitutive equations have been implemented in a commercial code to simulate the compaction and ejection processes of a two-level PM part. |
