dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a study of the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (PMSM) running under bearing damage. To carry out the study a two-dimensional (2-D) Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is used. Stator current induced harmonics for fault condition were investigated. Advanced signal analysis by means of Continuous and Discrete Wavelet Transforms was performed. Simulation were carried out and compared with experimental.
