dc.description.abstract[ANGLÈS] The project is based on the design of a hydraulic mechanism that provides an improvement in access to swimming pools. With the additional value of a simple assembly, due to a modular design that will allow us to reduce assembly time while it can be movable and easily unassembled, thus avoiding high cost in the installation. In order to understand more the needs that a public pool can have in terms of accessibility, we have counted on the help of professionals from Vilanova i la Geltrú Municipal Pool. It has been observed what types of users usually go to the pool, valuing their needs determine who our users will be. To know the ideal place for the installation of the hydraulic system, we have also observed the types of pool and what utilities the different areas have. We have also studied the different users and applications for which it is intended, as well as the regulations that may influence our installation. On the other hand, the different mechanism existing on the market that improve access to people with functional diversity have been considered. From here, we have studied the different ways of performing a linear movement, as is the case of a liftable platform. Finally, it has ended up opting for the choice of hydraulic systems as the most viable solution. To determine the parameters or characteristics to be taken into account in the choice of the cylinder, a study has been made at the level of calculations to know which cylinder will be able to move the loads imposed. With regard to the fluid used, it has been decided to take advantage of the water that we can use to fill the pool, it is a clean fluid that does not contaminate the pool water. Consequently, to direct the water towards the cylinders, a circuit has been made, form which an estimate of the load losses that we can have in some cases the operation of the cylinders could be affected. The fact that the mechanism is in permanent contact with water, has given the need to know the chemical agents used in swimming pools that can negatively affect the material, finally choosing several materials resistant to corrosion for the construction of the mechanism. Finally, once the materials to be used are known, studies have been carried out of the parts that will receive the greatest efforts in order to be able to validate the design and ensure the safety of the users.
