dc.description.abstract[ANGLÈS] This project consists in the creation of a material useful for teaching, from the beginning to end. It is specifically focused on the creation of a tool that shows the deformation values of a structure or bar, when this structure works in the elastic area of the material. The main objective is to create a device of small dimensions in order to facilitate the understanding of the lesson given by professors regarding the impact of the different types of efforts and moments on a structure or bar in The method of design of the material is divided in two big blocks. The first one is focused on the theoretical approach where the mechanical calculations such as the calculation of tensions due to torsional moments or bending moments using the Navier formula, or the Colignon formula for the shear are shown. Electronic calculations to obtain the value of the output voltage of the Wheastone bridge circuit are also part of this first group. The second block is based on the practical implementation and assembly of the material. It also contains a useful and comparative analysis between experimental, simulated and theoretical results. In order to perform the comparison, the values of deformations calculated using the Hooke law will be needed, taking into account the Poisson coefficient, for angular deformation and tension cases. The values of the simulations of the structures will be extracted by means of the Nx12 programs and Proteus will be used for the simulations of the electronic circuit. Once the material is designed and created, the relevant measures will be sized, and the analysis of the deviations will be perform with the 3 methods to obtain results. If values of around 5% deviation are obtained, the calculations and assembly will be considered successful. To summarize, we can conclude that all the targets regarding the project were fulfilled and personal goals were met since even though there were initially some values that showed a high deviation, we were able to analyze and correct them accordingly.
