dc.description.abstractNowadays many people are realizing the technological advances of the 4.0 industrial revolution. This means that the world’s population knows many of the innovate technologies, either in their own interest or because they’ve received information from other people. One of the topics that has been widely talked about, in recent years, is 3D Printing. Although initially the technology was unused for the manufacture of prototypes and different models for architecture and industrial design sectors, currently, thanks to the costs reduction and the materials and technology available 3D Printing is increasing not only in the industrial field but also in homes and formative. 3D Printing is based on a technique called additive polymer manufacture to build physical objects previously designed by a specific software. The topic of this final Degree work is about this kind of printers, but on a higher scale, created for the homes manufacture by special concrete extrusion. In this work we’ll discuss the importance of 3D printing and the different types of printers that exist in the market. It will start with the plastic extrusion, either PLA, ABS, FDM…etc. Once we finished, we’ll continue with the concrete extrusion machines that are currently in the market. At this point a study of the design of the different printers for construction of houses (concrete) will be done to find the final design or modification. This study will have several designs to achieve the definitive, each one explained with the advantages and disadvantages. Finally a study of economic viability will be carried out. It must be said, however, that this work will be a design study, therefore, calculations of the unions between pieces and calculations to know if it will resist or any type of wiring installation won’t be taken into account. Just the materials that we use.
