dc.description.abstractThe thesis will assess the error in ductility demand estimated through the double-linear-analysis method for seismic design when compared against non-linear time-history analysis. A representative set of irregular structures will be considered for design and assessment. The statistics of the error of the model will be determined. Finally, a suitable safety factor will be calibrated for target reliability factor.
