Abstract
The project presents the study and design of a box feeder system for packaging machines operating in a continuous cycle. This solution contemplates a main mechanism of planetary type and all the elements that intervene, as well as an entrance store of folded boxes and an exit of boxes unfolded on a bucket conveyor. The mechanism is equipped with three suction cups controlled by a vacuum air circuit, characterized by a rotating air joint. Totally integrated in an ergonomic module and prepared for later projections to be able to be completely inserted as a continuous machine in a production line. All phases of this project follow the same line of the industrial project. Based on a estudy of the movement that wants to be carried out and through the sizing of the main elements it is possible to achieve the solution design.
