The aim of this project is to contribute to the enhancement of the UbiSmart platform. From data collection, reasoning and analysis of activities of daily living to web user interface and mobile phone integration, a full stack approach has been followed. This way, according to our opinion, is the best to improve and maintain an end-to-end service since it gives a global view of the whole service and its overall functioning. This is a project developed at Image & Pervasive Access Lab (IPAL) placed in Singapore. The UbiSmart platform is an Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) framework with two main goals. On one hand, it provides an ICT solution to help elderly people remain independent as well as improve their quality of life. On the other hand, it harvest open city data, and data from health systems, urban and remote sensors, personal devices and social media to, in a near future, be able to enable evidence-driven and timely management of public health events and processes. As a result of the work, the rules used in the reasoning engine have been improved, a new web interface has been designed and implemented and three standalone mobile applications have been developed on top of UbiSmart. Future work will be oriented in the enhancement of Moover app and further improvement of the reasoning system.
